YOU’LL PLAY COLOR TAPES ON YOUR TV SCREEN by Herbert Shuldiner (1969)

“New RCA SelectaVision will use laser holography to play prerecorded tapes on your TV set.”

I’m not sure what this is. The technical explanation doesn’t help. Some sort of high-resolution, 3-D videotape? Did this evolve into RCA’s SelectaVision “videodisc” system that was released in the 1980’s? This is not Laserdisc, that was a different format.
