“The October UFO Wave of 1973” Why?

As far as I know, nobody has figured out the October 1973 UFO wave? Why October? Why 1973? Or, if they have, they’ve kept it to themselves.

Let’s apply the association game here.

Let’s go back to the beginning of the modern flying saucer age, June 24, 1947, with Kenneth Arnold witnessing of nine disc-shaped unidentified flying objects.

Let’s ask: “is there any significance in the date, June 24th? Well, it is Saint John’s Day. (I have to give credit to Loren Coleman for bringing this to my attention in his book CURIOUS ENCOUNTERS, which I read in 1990.)

That day is very significant to the ancient sacred order; The Knights’ Templar, of which had nine founding members. That could just be a coincidence.

Let’s jump ahead to 1957, with the release of, what is considered the worst film ever made, “PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE.”

Why “plan nine?” What was plan nine? Why does the leader of the extra-terrestrial force invading Earth wearing a knight’s tunic? Budgetary restraints? It’s not a Templar tunic. But it is a generic knight’s tunic with the image of a medieval shield and ax depicted on the front.

Scene from PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE

As for Plan nine; what was it. (it’s in the movie poster) Plan nine involved resurrecting the dead. In the film, the dead are depicted as rising from their graves and walking the earth in a zombie-like state, controlled by the alien invaders to destroy humankind on planet earth.

Well in 1988, UFO (“visitor”) abductee / contactee Whitley Streiber, wrote that these “visitors” claim to “recycle souls.” Well, that is a form of resurrection. Not of the body, but of the soul.

I’m not saying these “coincidences” were deliberately included in the film, but perhaps they were “subconscious influences” on the director, Ed Wood.

I might as well add this: The Rose Templar is perhaps the most popular floral symbol. According to legend, it grew up in a paradise without thorns, but acquired them after the fall of man as a reminder. For Christians, the rose symbolizes martyrdom, as well as charity. White rose is a symbol of innocence, purity, and chastity.

The rose is also a symbol of mystery and silence. Since the XII century, the Rose has been introduced into heraldry among monarchs, as well as knights of orders, becoming one of its most stable signs.

Now, I’m thinking Rosslyn Chapel. Not built by the Templars but it is associated with them.

And, Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. We all know that story. Ros-e / Ros-slyne / Ros-well…. Hmm?

Jump ahead to 1977, with the release of a little film called “STAR WARS.” A film depicting a space war in a far-off galaxy, occurring a long time ago. In this film is depicted a sacred order of mystical warriors called “the Jedi,” much like the Knights’ Templar. I assume the director, George Lucas based the Jedi on the Templars, since what happened to the Jedi also happened to the Templars. Both were righteous warriors, (whose preferred weapon is a sword / light-saber) suddenly declared as outlaws and ordered to be destroyed by an emperor. So, are the Jedi, “The Knights Templar From Outer Space?

Does all this sound silly?
Remember what Jedi master, Obi-wan Kenobi, from STAR WARS, said to his nemesis Darth Vader: “If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine,” just before Vader struck him down.

Maybe the Templar Grand Master said the same thing, or similar, just before he was struck down.
Now, the Templars’ end came on October 13th of 1307 (Friday the 13th). Now, back to the October UFO “invasion of 1973.” Is this a celebration or acknowledgment of the anniversary of the demise of the Templars? By the way, Steven Spielberg’s 1977 film, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, was inspired by the UFO wave of October 1973.

Here comes the clincher; Which anniversary, in October, would this be? What is 1973 subtract 1307? You do the math…. I’ll wait.

HOLY SH*T!!! That can’t be a coincidence! What does that mean? That’s right! Six-hundred, sixty-six years!
